Welcome to Braided Brilliance!

I specialize in handmade braided horse tack and accessories, including custom halters and lead lines crafted with care and attention to detail. My collection also includes breast collars, headstalls, bucket straps, tie-downs, reins, and wither straps.

I don’t stop at horses—I also create cow halters with two-way ties, as well as dog collars and leashes for your pups, and some hunting things.

My Story

Hi, I’m Isabel—the maker behind Braided Brilliance!

I own three horses and barrel race two of them, and I work full-time on my family’s dairy farm. Every piece I make is inspired by the animals I work with every day.

I create custom mule tape tack and accessories for horses, cows, and dogs—all handmade right here in Canada. Every item is fully customizable—you choose the size, colours, and any extras to make it your own.

Quality & Craftsmanship

Almost all of the rope is hand-dyed in small batches, giving each piece its own unique character. Because of this process, colours may vary slightly—making every item truly one of a kind.

I also upgraded most of our hardware to stainless steel, which won’t rust or corrode. It’s stronger, longer-lasting, and built to handle daily use in all weather conditions.
